Love Thy Neighbor meets basic needs across Nye County: food, water, clothing, and a safe place to live. It runs on neighbors who show up.
This isn't a plan. It's work already underway with local churches and neighbors.
These are the seven needs named in Matthew 25. We're looking for one leader for each, and volunteers to work alongside them. Pick the one that pulls at you.
Pack and deliver Monday meals, or organize food drives.
Help deliver water to people living outside, especially in summer.
Sort, size, and hand out clothing and household goods.
Help with move-ins, repairs, and furnishing homes for people starting over.
Give rides to appointments and check in on people who are ill or alone.
Write, visit, and help people coming home from jail or prison find their footing.
Help make sure no one in Nye County is buried alone, and support the families left behind.
Clothing, linens, furniture, and household items go straight to neighbors who need them.
In rural Nevada, a reliable car can mean a job, a doctor's visit, and a way out.
Your gift pays for water, food, and the costs of keeping people housed.
Check everything that interests you. We'll call you personally to find the right fit.
